I count one - the truck in the top left.
We've got some convertible, an American pick-up, Beetle, Impreza, some plane, MX5, 2002, a Citroen who's name I forgot.
Next row - a train, Lotus Cortina, Nissan something(?), something old, XR4i, F-Type, erm I dunno maybe a Mahindra, some space thing.
Or am I wrong?

The Merkur!

Aha, yes. Your Merkur, our XR4i

Your "some plane" is an A-10. Not sure about the "some convertible" - maybe a Lotus Elan? Citroen is a DS, American pickup is I think a '59 Ranchero.
"Something old" is the Cugnot steam engine.

What about Curiosity?

It does look like an Elan. Yes, think you're right

Looks pretty cool

Possibly discounted on uncertain quality of "car".

Top L to R: Lotus Elan, '66-67 El Camino, lunar rover, VW Beetle, last-gen Mitsu Evo, plane, Miata, BMW 2002, Citroen DS
Bottom L to R: high-speed train, Lotus Cortina, Mitsubishi Starion, old steam car, Merkur XR4Ti, Jaguar F-Type, 4-door Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40, space thing.
So yes, only one purely American vehicle: The El Camino. Two Mitsubishis, 1.5 Euro Fords, 1.5 Lotuses, 2 German cars, 1 French car, and 2 more Japanese vehicles.

I don't have a header bar, AdBlocker maybe?

...ish

Mitsubishi Starion! That was bugging me. I reckon your Evo might be an Impreza purely because of the decal on the door
![]() 12/13/2013 at 11:28 |

For your information, the something old is Cugnot's Fardier à Vapeur, the very first car (1769).

The Evo is actually a WRX STi in rally livery. And the lunar rover is the mars Curiosity rover

Brilliant!

I don't think we've ever confirmed the identity of the suv. Its not the FJ45LV (the only 4 door J40) because its too short.
It could be an FJ55, but it didn't have a spare tire on the outside.
Im pretty sure its a G-wagen.

I had believed your "El Camino" to be a '59 Ranchero, though the A-pillar's not right. The 'Camino roof matches, the Ranchero's side relief is somewhat better - there are issues with both.

Could be a G-Wagen! Good guess.
![]() 12/13/2013 at 11:45 |

Funny enough, the side relief thing bounded back around with the '72-'74 Ranchero, but the B-pillar's not right.

Me neither, and I don't have AdBlock or anything. I used to see the header bars for the first few weeks after they were introduced, but not anymore. Also, I see very few ads on any Gawker sites, and none at all on Jalopnik. Chrome, Firefox, or IE makes no difference.
You're in Ontario, right? I'm in BC. Maybe it's a Canadian thing.

I've been able to conclusively determine it's not a Holden/ Oz Falcon of any kind. Nor is it a Ford Mainline (also Oz), a Hillman, nor even a Chrysler/Dodge Valiant. I'm stumped.

Some convertible? Heathen. That's a Lotus Elan :)

I did get it but not until after someone pointed it out!

Ya that could be, Canada ftw

The plane is definitely an A-10 Attack Warthog

Proper name: Fairchild A-10 Thunderbolt II, yes. His phrasing of "vehicle" did leave that open (definitely an American vehicle), and almost all residents of Oppo should recognize it - we've even got two people on Oppo that have served on support crew.

Yeah, but the big 'J' looking thing is obviously turn 1 at a NASCAR track.
